高度的城市化带来的人口和其它要素的高度集聚，将使未来城市公共空间的建构面临“紧凑”与“生态”的双重命题。而景观都市主义的理念和方法则为应对高密度的城市环境中公共空间的建构提供了新的视角。文章在对景观都市主义的概念和基本立场进行归纳的基础上，论述了其在空间关联、功能整合、活力提升等方面的潜在价值，进而结合典型的案例从架构、折叠和编排三个角度分析了景观都市主义的实践策略，以期为当代高密度环境下城市公共空间的建构提供有益的参考。

abstract The making of public space, with high degree of agglomeration of urban components in the process of rapid urbanization, is confronted with the dual issues of being compact and being ecological. The theory and methodology of landscape urbanism opens a new vision toward the making of public space in the high-density environment. Starting with the introduction of its theoretical stance, the article discusses the potential of landscape urbanism from the perspective of space structuring, integration and vitalization. Further with the case study on worldwide practical or research projects, three primary strategies in the practice of landscape urbanism, such as structuring, folding and staging, are analyzed, providing references for public space making in high-density environment.
