为适应我国中药现代化进程和国际化发展趋势，亟须培养大量综合型和创新型的专业人才，因此在生物医药相关专业进行天然药物相关课程教学的需求也越来越大。该文对在生物技术专业开设天然药物概论课程所涉及的教学内容和教学方法进行讨论。

In order to accelerate the modernization and internalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine ( TCM) ,there is a great need to cultivate a large number of high-quality comprehensive and innovative talents.Therefore,the demand of providing natural medicines related courses to the students in the bio-medical sciences related majors is growing.Herein,the curriculum design and exploration of the teaching methods for the course of Introduction to Natural Products Chemistry in the Biotechnology specialty are discussed.
