军队学历教育院校（以下简称“军校”）《中国历史地理》选修课程强调“四个结合”。基于这样的课程特点，军校开展《中国历史地理》教学具有重要意义。这门课程融知识获取、能力培养与价值塑造为一体，不仅有助于学员吸收丰富的历史地理学知识，而且有助于学员锻炼理论思维能力、实操动手能力和自主学习能力，有助于学员增进爱国意识，培育责任感和使命感。通过学习这门课程，学员不仅可以提高人文素质，也能提高政治素质和军事素质。可以说，《中国历史地理》课是军校人文、政治、军事三类学科交叉融合的典型课程之一。

The elective course called Chinese Historical Geography in military academies puts emphasis on “Four Combinations”. Based on such features of the course ,it’s of great significance that military academies offer it.This course is a combination of knowledge acquisition,abilities cultivation and value shaping.It not only helps students acquire plenty of knowledge of Histori-cal Geography,but also cultivates their theoretical thinking skills,manipulative ability and autonomous learning ability,strength-ens their patriotism,sense of responsibility and sense of calling.This course aims at improving students’humanistic quality,po-litical consciousness and military capability.It’s safe to say that Chinese Historical Geography is one of the typical interdiscipli-nary courses of liberal arts,political science and military science in military academies.
