学科建设作为提升高校综合实力的核心环节，重点学科对科技进步、知识创新以及推动国家和地方经济发展起着至关重要的作用。以 G 大学为例，运用核心竞争力理论，全面分析其优势资源获取能力、学科发展能力及资源整合能力现状及问题，认为重点学科建设应紧扣学科战略发展方向，保持战略资源获取能力；增强学科发展能力，扩大学科领先优势，包括整合学科群资源、突破学科管理壁垒等；提高资源整合能力，完善人才发展机制，建立学科特区创新机制，持续保持学科优势等。

Discipline construction is the key of raising the comprehensive strength of universities.Key disciplines play an impor-tant part in science ,technology progress,knowledge innovation,promoting national and local economic development.In the case of G university,a comprehensive analysis of current situation and problems of G will be done on the basis of the theory of core competence.The result can be concluded as following:key discipline construction should stick to the direction of strategic devel-opment and maintain the ability of obtaining the strategic resources;besides,it should also enhance the capacity of subject de-velopment and expand the advantage which including the integration of resources and discipline managementba-rriers breaking etc;last but not the least,it should improve the ability of resource integration,perfect the mechanisim of talent development and establish specific district innovation mechanism as well as keep discipline superiority etc.
