The Brassica napus ‘Zhenyou 6’is a new variety of double low content in rapeseed bred by Zhenjiang Institute of Agricultural Sciences in Hill Region of Jiangsu Province.The yield of ‘Zhenyou 6’is generally about 3 000 kg?hm2 .The whole growth period is 244 d,the plant height is about 170 cm.It has 8.6 primary effective branches and 6.2 secondary effective branches,378 effective pods per plant,20.3 grains per pod.Its 1 000-grain weight is 4.20 g.Its rapeseeds’oil content is 41.3%,erucic acid content is 0.3% and total glucosinolate content of rapeseed meal is 19.8 μmol?g.Its lodging resistance and disease resistance are strong.It is suitable for planting in rape area of Jiangsu Province and adjacent areas.
