安山岩作为一种岩浆岩, 岩体完整性好、强度高, 但岩体中的软弱夹层对工程危害却很大, 在工程勘察中应引起高度重视. 位于黄河一级支流西阳河上的李家河水库、沇西河上的后河水库, 库坝区均以震旦系下统许山组的安山岩为主, 属同一岩体, 岩体中的软弱夹层是水库坝址的主要工程地质问题之一,在两个水库勘察过程中对软弱夹层的空间分布特征、物质组成、物理力学特性、成因等进行了深入分析研究, 为设计人员提供了合理的参数.

Andesite,as magmatic rock,has high rock integrity and high strength,but the weak interlayer rock in it can do great harm to engineering project ,because of which close attention should be attached in engineering exploration .Lijiahe Reservoir located on Xiyang River and Houhe Reservoir located on Yanxi River ( which belong to first grade tributary of the Yellow River ) ,the dam and reservoir regions of which mainly consist of andesite Xushan group under Sinian System , and they belong to the same rock mass .Weak interlayer remains one of the main engineering geological problems of dam site.In the investigation process for the two reservoirs , the author carefully studied distribution characteristics , material composition ,physical and mechanical properties , as well as the causes of the weak interlayer , providing designers with reasonable parameters .
