The accuracy of the scouring velocity value of rock foundation in the building used to discharge flood energy dissipation is very important .If the geological suggestion value is low ,the test scour depth of hydraulic model is larger , which will make the engineering investment high and affect the construction schedule .The paper combined engineering a-nalogy with calculation method in the reconstruction of Fengman Hydropower Station .This provides a reasonable scouring velocity value ,and estimates the depth of the pit .
