深圳抽水蓄能电站地下厂房布置在坚硬花岗岩中, 埋深250~350 m, 属于典型硬岩条件下浅埋大跨度洞室, 相对发育的确定性节理切割块体稳定性是工程设计关心的主要问题. 针对这一问题, 介绍厂房区基本地质条件及对该问题的分析判断和论证过程, 及利用现场实际编录的节理资料, 采用三维离散元程序3DEC确定性地模拟这些节理切割形成的块体, 从而真实地分析和预测未来开挖过程中潜在不稳定块体及控制性节理分布, 为论证和优化支护设计方案提供明确和直接的依据.

The cavern of Shenzhen Pump Storage Powerstation is seated in hard granite ,with depth in the range between 250 and 350 meters from ground surface .Such condition falls into the typical category of large-opening in hard rock .The most significant engineering concern is the stability of blocks formed with the intersected joints in the surrounding rock mass.Consequently ,the authors emphasize the excises of 3DEC modeling of joint networks and block stabilities directly using the geological mapping data .The advantage of such approach is that the realistic jointing information has been im -ported into the model and the model results are able to reliably predict locations and mechanism of instable blocks .This approach has been applied into the optimization of ground support design during the practice of cavern construction of Shenzhen Pump Storage Powerstation .
