我国口传文学从已知道的叙事长诗来说，以东部新疆和北部新疆广大草原的生活的游牧民族哈萨克族为最，目前已经搜集整理出版或载入名录的将近三百部，成为认知和了解哈萨克族文化的重要资源。然而，以达斯坦为代表的少数民族叙事长诗作为民间文学，其传承已经到了生死存亡的时刻，如何使达斯坦走出困境，成为当下最为迫在眉睫的大问题。

As a kind of oral literature, the narrative poems created by the Kazak ethic group, a nomad lives in the prairie in northern and eastern Xinjiang, is most famous among all of the known narrative poems in China. Currently almost 300 sections of Kazak narrative poems have been collected, published or loaded into directories, and these poems have become the key sources in understanding Kazak culture. Nevertheless, being one of the folk culture, the minority narrative poems are facing an extremely dangerous situation when it comes to inheritance, as represented by Kazak Dastan. It has become an imminent issue at the moment to look for a way to get Kazak Dastan out of the trouble.
