RASSF2, one of the members of Ras association domain family (RASSF), plays an important role in tumor suppression.The expression of RASSF2 is usually down-regulated or absent due to the methylation of the promoter of RASSF2 in many human tumors, leading to the lost or re-duced tumor suppressive activity of RASSF2.This article elucidates that RASSF2 exerts its tumor suppressive role by regulating different signaling pathways in human tumors.It is of great significance to research the specific function and regulation mechanism of RASSF2 in tumorigenesis for early di-agnosis and treatment of tumors.
