Power electronic technology is essential for industrial manufacture, Development of many industrial sector is normally constrained from lack of advanced technology. The core technology of the power electrionic industry focuses on the power semiconductor devices, which is also part of the electronic industry. Under the background of electronic technology development, this paper tries to clarify the developing route of power semiconductor devices from the initial starting point of view, along with a forecast of the power electronic technology in the future.
