Mass balance equation plays an important role in predicting dynamic reserves.This paper induces a novel mass balance equation of over pressured water drive gas reservoir based on the volumetric reservoir mass balance in terms of water influx effect on water drive reservoir and formation compression coefficient and the residual fluid expansion in over pressured reservoir.This new method can be used to guide effective development of gas reservoir.
