The independence of the space and the variety of electric power make it necessary to use different voltage classes of cables from110v to 35kV on the offshore oil platform.The cable terminal treatment is the safeguard for safe production.This paper describes the application of the thermal shrinkage cable terminals on the offshore oil platform with basic technical requirements. Examples of 1kV rubber plastic cable terminal is taken to introduce notices during the production and construction of it.
