The Wuqi-Yanlian crude oil pipeline is 257 km long with large gaps between different parts of terrain along the pipeline.The design capacity of the pipeline is 3.5 mt/a.The pipeline is buried without insulation.The thickness of covering soil is 1m.The design gets 3-tier structure of PE anticorrosion with the thickness of 2.5 mm.According to the principle of minimum present value,the economic diameter of 323.9 mm is determined by comparison of three pipe diameter projects.
