The critical components and critical temperature of( benzonitrile + tetra -decane)have been found and made up of. The temperature-refractive index( T,n)coexistence curve of the critical binary solution has been determined within 11. 4 K from the critical temperature by measuring refractive index. The critical expo-nent β and the critical amplitude B have been deduced by the linear least-squares fitting,and the result is con-sistent with the theoretical prediction of the 3D-Ising model.
