The stress produced by high rearing density in the living condition of animals was called crowding stress.It has been documented that crowding stress has important effects on living activities of fish species,it may induce on behav-ior,physiological status,low growth rate and lower immunity changes of fish species.In this paper,reaction process and mechanism of crowding stress,and its effect on aquatic were reviewed.
