Although tetrazole and its derivatives rarely occur in nature, the vast majority of all show the biological activity. 5-Aminotetrazoles show anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic, antiviral and anti-inflammatory, antineoplastic activities. This article summarized some representative synthetic methods of the aminotetrazoles and reviewed the advantages and disadvantages of these methods.
