ABSTRACT:n-Butyl ether was synthesized by refluxing under the conditions of stirring, with n-butyl alcohol as raw material, concentrated sulfuric acid as catalyst. The effects of the amount of concentrated sul-furic acid, reaction time and water-carrying agents on yield of n-butyl ether were studied, The highest yield of n-butyl ether was 41.1%.
