Library of Congress of United States is one of the biggest and the most important libraries in the world and it col-lects a lot of scientific and technological journals of China. This paper took three journals on materials started in different periods,ActaMetallurgicaSinica,Bare Metal Materials and Engineering and The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals,as examples to explore the history,the status quo and the development of journals on materials in China.
