对“善”的追求是任何一种理论的目的之所在，而对“善”所包涵的具体内容，不同的思想流派则有着各异的解读。在功利主义者看来，幸福和快乐是一切学说和理论的终极目的；而在义务论者眼中，德性构成了“善”的主导内容。功利主义者和义务论者的分歧体现了对“善”之具体内涵的不同侧重，也展现了对人之自然属性或道德属性的不同逻辑推演。无论如何，人作为自然属性与道德属性的结合体，幸福与德性也成为任何一种理论与学说都必须认真对待的问题。

Good is the eternal theme of all kinds of ethical and political theories.However, different the-ories have different interpretation of good.As utilitarianism said, happiness is the final pursuit and deontolo-gist said that virtue is the most important aspect of the good.And the distinction of the utilitarian and the de-ontology shows the two dimension of the human nature, which consist of the natural potentiality and the moral potentiality.Whatever, happiness and virtue are very important for human being, which is the combination of animal being and moral being.
