分析了“匕”字的两个来源以及从“匕”之字。一为考妣之匕，一为匕匙之匕，二者形义皆有别，后因字形讹变而同形。《说文》将二者混为一字以解说，故支离破碎。甲骨文“旨”所从的“匕”为匕匙之匕，从匕从口会美味之意。甲骨文“”乃“”字，陈炜湛从中分出“”字不可信。
분석료“비”자적량개래원이급종“비”지자。일위고비지비，일위비시지비，이자형의개유별，후인자형와변이동형。《설문》장이자혼위일자이해설，고지리파쇄。갑골문“지”소종적“비”위비시지비，종비종구회미미지의。갑골문“”내“”자，진위담종중분출“”자불가신。
Bi(匕) has two sources, one for kaobi(考妣) , the other for bishi(匕匙) . Both are different in form and meaning, but acquire the same form due to erroneous change. The frag-mented explanations for the form and meaning in“Shuo Wen” have resulted in such confusion. Oracle “zhi” comes from bi (匕) of bishi (匕匙) , and from bi (匕) which means ‘from the mouth’, carrying the meaning ‘delicious’. Chen Weizhan’ s explanation that oracle “pin”( ) is “pin”( ) and “ ”derives from “pin”( ) is not reliable.
