Introduction to Biotechnology is the compulsory course for students whose specialty is medical biotechnology, covering a wide field, with complex theory and innovative technology, also is a summary and conclusion of biotechnology. In order to improve the teaching effects and level of Introduction to Biotechnology, PBL Teaching Model is introduced on the basis of traditional teaching. Practices have proven PBL teaching mode increases learning enthusiasm and initiative of students, and stimulates students' interests in exploration with both theory and practices, which are unanimously praised by both students and teachers.
