Ultraviolet(UV)light communication system has better non-line-of-sight transmission and secrecy performance. For the traditional UV-light communication system has large size,and is hard to apply in practice,an UV-light communication system was designed based on UV-LED. The contents of optical path design,clock recovery and channel coding are studied. The duplex communication protocol was designed emphatically. The information transmission of 4.8 Kb/s was realized with less re-source. This system can be used for duplex secrecy communication of voice and data in close range.
