作为特里·伊格尔顿（Terry Eagleton，1943-）的经典之作《理论之后》，凭借其对文化理论的抨击，作者严谨的构局，准确的文字，独特的批判风格，一度被誉为“对文化理论现状最有影响力的小说”，至今在世界文化理论界都备受推崇。特里·伊格尔顿对于传统文化理论、政治格局的阐述一直被不断的注解，笔者结合自己对特里·伊格尔顿理论的研究和现代文化理论的认识就伊格尔顿《理论之后》的思想进行分析。

After Theory, as Eagleton’s masterpiece, has assailed the cultural theory. Due to the compact writing structure, precise description and distinctive critical style, the book was once regarded as a novel which had the greatest influence on the current situation of the cultural theory. Even up to now, it is highly praised in the cultural theory field. Although Eagleton’s explanations about the political structure of traditional cultural theory have been commented, the writers of this paper make an exposition on the ideological analysis of Eagleton’s After Theory according to the research and understanding of Eagleton’s theory.
