枞阳青山以石屋寺为标志，以奇形怪状的石头为特色，素有“小九华”之称，历史悠久，宗教文化底蕴深厚。该文通过对资料的收集和整理，以青山为主体，以生态旅游为核心，对青山的生态资源、宗教文化的优势及劣势进行了分析，提出了生态开发的原则，并且在此基础上，规划出开发青山特色生态旅游景点的方案，以实现青山地区生态旅游的可持续发展。
