As a hot issue of linguistic research in recent years,the role of multimodality has become increasingly important in people's way of life,and communication,This paper,based on a teaching experiment,reveals that the teaching of English reading on a multimodal perspective can help vocational college students catch the meaning po-tential of multimodality better,and strengthen their reading ability as well.
