An experimental study on rheological properties of slurry with different concentrations in the pipeline transportation, and the summarization of a general pattern of its variation were presented. Based on the rheological properties, the hydraulic gradient and filling times line for pipeline transportation were calculated, which can lay a theoretical foundation for pipeline transportation in backfilling by gravity flow.
