The"Thirteenth Five-year Plan"is an important period of implementing the national overall layout, accelerating the development of modern vocational education. The country will basically complete modern vocational education system with Chinese characteristics, provide human resource support for the completion of a comprehensive well-off society, which isn't inseparable from the scientific research development in higher vocational colleges. For a good development plan of the scientific research in vocational colleges, from an unprecedented three aspects, such as "vocational education development situation, development of new normal, higher vocational education innovation and development", the author analyzes the unprecedented developing opportunities of scientific research in higher vocational colleges. From the following three aspects of scientific research in higher vocational college, such as the high requirement, heavy task and thin foundation, the author puts forward the developing challenges of the scientific research in higher vocational college.
