基于CGSS2008数据,采用理论分析和实证检验方法重点探讨了中国农村妇女受教育水平与其子女数量和受教育程度的相关关系.研究结果显示,农村妇女受教育水平与家庭子女数量负相关、与子女受教育程度正相关,且对家庭子女受教育程度的影响呈性别非对称性,对女孩受教育的正向影响大于男孩;与父亲受教育水平对家庭子女个数和子女受教育程度的影响相比较,母亲受教育程度具有的效应更大.

This article is based on CGSS2008 data,using theoretical analysis and empirical test methods to discuss the relationship between women's education and their children number,their children's education. Research shows that rural women's education level is negatively related to children number,is positively related to children's educa-tion,and is not gender symmetrical for their children's education in the family,the positive impact on girls' education is more than boys. Compared with father's education,mother's education has a greater effect for their children number and children's education.
