It is an important mission of the ideological education for higher vocational college students to inherit the excellent tra-ditional cultural thought and help the students to establish correct world view, philosophy and values. The accumulation of tradi-tional cultural information is a basic way to inherit the Chinese traditional cultural thought. The main problem in the process of inheriting the traditional cultural thought can be clearly found by studying the accumulation state of traditional cultural information through the ideological education of higher vocational college students. It will urge us to reflect radically the reason of the for-mation, and then the ideal path will be explored to improve the inheriting effect of national traditional culture.
