利用医学图像中像素灰度值变化趋势在组织内部像素和边缘像素中具有的不同特性，提出一种基于累积变化率的医学图像弱边缘检测算法。通过判断像素灰度值在不同步长下变化率的变化趋势来鉴别图像中的弱边缘，采用均值的方法对检出的边缘区域进行细化。理论分析和实验结果表明，该算法具有较强鲁棒性，在相同的阈值条件下，能够增加医学图像弱边缘的检出率。

Based on the different characters of region objects and edge objects in medical images ,an algorithm to detect the dimmed edges in medical images using accumulated variations was presented .By judging the tendency of variation in different range ,the dimmed edges were identified from region objects .Mean‐value was used to refine the edges in medical images .Theory analysis and experiments verify that the proposed algorithm has great robustness ,and improves the quality of dimmed edge de‐tection in medical image at same threshold .
