The physical compositions of domestic waste in Songjiang district,Shanghai were investigated from some sources,such as residential area,commercial area,working space,cleaning area,waste transfer station,and terminal disposal bio-chemistry company. The composition and difference of domestic waste from different sources were analyzed. On these grounds, the countermeasures and suggestions for waste treatment were put forward.
