The deposit development is an important part of mine construction, and the development way is closely related with the haulage mode. When the ore gravity haulage is used, the ore pass system is the first choice. It is stated that a variety of risks, including wear and damage, hanging-up to ore-drawing, ore leakage etc, are analyzed upon the basis of ore-moving regularities, surveying files as well as the running status of orepass against the background of Dexing Copper Mine, and certain measures are presented accordingly in case of damage and/or hanging-up to orepass. A conclusion has been drawn that the risks on orepass drawing are controllable, with the exception of the fine ore and their moisture content which are hard to be managed simultaneously.
