许多英国白人移民殖民地经过斗争，在19世纪中期先后建立了责任制政府，取得了对内部事务的控制权。英国白人移民殖民地责任制政府形成的原因是多方面的。首先是白人移民及其后裔与英国的长期斗争。其次是英国的政治制度及变化与其在19世纪逐渐推行的自由贸易政策。其它一些因素也推动了殖民地建立责任制政府。

A number of British white colonies established responsible government in the middle of the 1 9th century and controlled their inner affairs.There were many reasons for the formation of responsible gov-ernment in the white colonies.Firstly,the struggle of white emigrants and their descendants was the main reason.Secondly,the political system of England and its evolution,and free trade policy were important reasons.In addition,many other factors also promoted the establishment of responsible government in white colonies,such as the American Independent War,the independence of Latin American colonies,and Canada firstly realizing responsible government.
