Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs)are a class of functional RNAs that do not encode a protein, but play a significant role in diseases.The ncRNAs are classified into lncRNA (long non-coding RNA) , microRNA, siRNA and others according to their molecular weight.Recently, several studies have suggested that ncRNAs are involved in the regulation of potassium channels related to several diseases.This review will focus on the latest progress of the roles of ncRNAs in regulating potassium channels in the development of diseases.
