尼日利亚曾是西非地区的唯一产煤国，拥有丰富的煤矿资源，储量达30亿 t，且具有低硫、低灰、富含沥青质等特点，但煤炭资源并未得到有效的开发利用。利用已有研究数据，首先对尼日利亚煤矿资源开发利用的历史和现状进行梳理，然后对煤矿未能得到有效开发利用的原因和未来开发利用的可行性进行分析，得出尼日利亚煤矿资源仍然具有巨大的开发利用价值，中国企业可以利用自身的人才、技术优势及尼日利亚政府的资源开发政策对其进行投资的结论。

Nigeria is the only coal resources production country in the west of Africa in the past, which is rich in coal resources with three billion tons.The coal resources in the country with the charac-teristics of low sulfur,low ash and high asphalt are not developed and utilized effectively.Based on the existed research data,firstly,the development history and status of the coal resources in Nigeria are ana-lyzed.Secondly,the reasons of the coal resources in Nigeria can't be developed and utilized effectively are discussed in depth,besides that,the feasibility of the development and utilization of the coal re-sources in Nigeria in the future is researched.The results show that the development and utilization value of the coal resources in Nigeria is still huge,based on the talents and technology advantages of Chinese companies and the resources development policies in Nigeria,the development and utilization of the coal resources in Nigeria can be invested by Chinese companies.
