晚清时期，西学翻译渐盛，书籍盗版日益严重。出于维护自身权益或民族利益的实际需要，不少民间出版人士纷纷表态，痛陈版权保护与译者利益乃至社会进步之间的关系，提请政府出台政策，实施版权保护。民间出版人士提出的版权诉求有的是针对国内义利，有的则是针对国际公例。对于这些要求，政府的回应大多比较积极，这为近代版权法律的出台奠定了基础。
晚清時期，西學翻譯漸盛，書籍盜版日益嚴重。齣于維護自身權益或民族利益的實際需要，不少民間齣版人士紛紛錶態，痛陳版權保護與譯者利益迺至社會進步之間的關繫，提請政府齣檯政策，實施版權保護。民間齣版人士提齣的版權訴求有的是針對國內義利，有的則是針對國際公例。對于這些要求，政府的迴應大多比較積極，這為近代版權法律的齣檯奠定瞭基礎。
만청시기，서학번역점성，서적도판일익엄중。출우유호자신권익혹민족이익적실제수요，불소민간출판인사분분표태，통진판권보호여역자이익내지사회진보지간적관계，제청정부출태정책，실시판권보호。민간출판인사제출적판권소구유적시침대국내의리，유적칙시침대국제공례。대우저사요구，정부적회응대다비교적겁，저위근대판권법률적출태전정료기출。
The translation of western books boomed in the late Qing period ,but the problem of copyright infringement was serious . Many private publishers pointed out the relationship between the protection of copyright and the interests of the translators and the society , and appealed to the government to establish translation copyright policies . The appeals were made either for the interests of the nation or for the international conventions . T he government responded to most of the appeals , w hich helped to lay a foundation for the copyright law s in modern times .
