陶瓷材料指所有无机非金属材料。是天然或人工合成的粉状化合物,经成型和高温烧结而制成的多晶固体材料。特种陶瓷是以纯度较高的人工合成化合物为主要原料的人工合成化合物,如Al2O3、ZrQ2、SiC、Si3N4、BN等。本文主要介绍SiC特种陶瓷。它具有良好的综合性能:硬度高,摩擦系数小(0.1~0.2),有自润滑性,是极优的耐磨材料。高温强度高,工作温度可达1600~1700℃,抗弯强度高。蠕变抗力高,热胀系数小,抗热振性能在陶瓷中是最好的。化学稳定性好,能耐各种酸、王水和碱液的腐蚀,也能抗熔融金属的侵蚀。具有优异的电绝缘性能。
