From the angle of plant physiological metabolism,the physiological and metabolic mechanism of series of process in the cereal microspore culture are summarized,at the same time,the physiological or cytology mechanism of sev-eral key process is discussed in this paper,such as microspore dedifferentiation and callus formation,differentiation and transformation,etc.And the current problems we are facing in this field and the direction of future development is summa-rized and prospected.
