Tassel is not only the reproductively important component in maize but also is an important subject in breeding research,which is absolutely vitally relevant with grain yield.This paper introduced tassel trait in terms of differentiated tassel development,as well as impact factor,and QTL mapping of primary branch number.So that we can investigate tassel development and inheritance and offer theory reference for maize breeding in the future.
