通过对吉首市城区园林植物资源进行的实地调查，分析了对园林植物数量与类型、科的分布型、园林观赏特性与用途等。结果表明：吉首市园林植物共有193种，隶属于76科129属。其中乔、灌木类型最多，蕨类植物仅1种。引进外来植物种类较多，乡土园林植物很少，其中立体和水景植物基本空白。
통과대길수시성구완림식물자원진행적실지조사，분석료대완림식물수량여류형、과적분포형、완림관상특성여용도등。결과표명：길수시완림식물공유193충，대속우76과129속。기중교、관목류형최다，궐류식물부1충。인진외래식물충류교다，향토완림식물흔소，기중입체화수경식물기본공백。
Based on investigation of landscape plant resource in Jishou City,the amounts and types,distribution pat-terns of family,the ornamental characters and application of landscape plants were analyzed.Totally,there were 193 species of landscape plants belongs to 76 families and 129 genera.The plant arrangements of trees and shrubs are richer-than other types,and only one kind of fern.The majority landscape plant were introduced from foreign countries,and less used with native plants.And there were less and even no vertical planting and water landscape.
