随着高校改革的深入，大学生在社会群体组成中占有越来越重要的地位，而把什么样的大学生输送到社会中显得尤为重要。文章从高校的培养目标和大学生的精神心理现状着手，指出文学具有自身的独特性，在培养大学生的人文精神、强大心理和充实心灵等方面有着极其重要的作用。高校应该充分重视文学在大学生精神心理成长过程中的重要性，通过各种方法在校园内为学生营造一个浓厚的文学氛围，切实使大学生受到文学的良好熏陶。

With the further reform in colleges and universities,college students play a more and more important role in social groups.It is all the more important what kind of college students should be sent in-to the society.Starting from the training objectives of colleges and universities and the present state of the mentality and psychology of college students,the paper points out that with its uniqueness,literature plays an important role in the cultivation of the humanistic spirit and the strong mind of college students.Colle-ges and universities are supposed to pay attention to the importance of literature in the growth of the men-tality and psychology of college students and try to create a good literary atmosphere on campus for students to guarantee a positive influence of literature on students.
