限于国家旅游业发展现状、社会历史和风俗文化等因素的影响，中国的旅游职业教育发展在诸多方面与发达国家相比还存在着较大差距。以“TAFE 模式”和“山旅模式”为例，从宏观的外部机制、资源保障到微观的院校人才培养模式优化，对国内外旅游职业教育发展模式进行评价比较，提出了完善旅游类专业国家职业资格证书认证制度、建立“旅游类专业职业教育培训包”体系、凝练办学宗旨和理念定位以及构建“产学研一体化”的人才培养模式等建议，为提升旅游院校的核心竞争力、促进旅游教育和行业健康的和谐与可持续发展提供科学依据。

Limited by the factors of national tourism development,social history and cultural customs, etc.,there is still a wide gap in the tourism occupational education between China and the developed coun-tries.This paper mainly analyses the differences of developmental modes in this aspect from the external mechanism,resource guarantee to the optimization of the internal personnel training modes between foreign and domestic colleges,represented by Australian TAFE College and Shandong College of Tourism & Hos-pitality.Finally,the paper offers some suggestions,such as improving the certification system of national vocational qualification in tourism majors,establishing the system of vocational training package for tourism majors,compacting the educational purposes and principles,and building the integration mode of production-teaching-research for the tourism occupational education,etc.All this will provide scientific ba-sis for enhancing the core competitiveness of tourism colleges and promoting the healthy,harmonious and sustainable development of tourism education and industry.
