我国蕴藏着丰富的薯蓣种质资源，国内外研究学者对薯蓣种质资源开展了大量遗传多样性的研究。主要从形态水平、细胞染色体水平、生化水平和分子水平4个方面综述大薯、山药、黄独、盾叶薯蓣等物种遗传多样性的国内外研究进展，简要介绍薯蓣属植物的经济和育种价值，为薯蓣种质的开发和利用提供依据。

There were many germplasm resources of Dioscorea L. in our country. A large number of genetic diversity research on them had been carried out in home and abroad . The paper briefly introduced the economic and breeding value of Dioscorea plants, and mainly reviewed the genetic diversity research of Dioscorea L. including Dioscorea alata, Dioscorea opposita, Dioscorea bulbifera and Dioscorea zingiberensis etc on morphological, cytological, biochemical and molecular levels, which can provide reference for the development and utilization of Dioscorea germplasm.
