湘籍高职生作为成人英语学习者已具备一定的英语口语基础，但由于长期受其母语影响，尤其是其方言(主要指长沙方言)的影响，其英语口语往往带有浓重的地方口音，从而导致了交际障碍。本研究试图从语言迁移理论出发，通过问卷调查、语音测试等研究方式，探讨湘方言区域内英语学习者是如何受本地方言影响的，以求通过促进湘方言正迁移，克服负迁移的有效措施，提高本地区学生的英语口语水平。

Vocational college students in Hunan, as adult English learners, have already known some basic English pronunciation rules. Under the influence of mother tongue---Changsha dialect, their accent will result in communication barriers. Based on the theory of language transfer, the research tries to discuss how local accent affect EFL learners in Hunan with the instruments of questionnaire and oral test, then proposes some countermeasures of promoting positive transfer and avoiding negative transfer of Xiang dialect in order to upgrade Hunan students’ phonetic ability.
