方言特征词具有系统性、排它性、稳定性等多重特征。丧葬类方言词能反映方言区的丧葬民俗，其讳言及社会性特征，使它相对稳定。皖西南地区通行二次葬，这种丧葬民俗有较强的区别性特征。这种有一定区别性特征的葬俗可以用一批方言特征词来概括。皖西南二次葬的最大特点是“厝柩”葬，其根源和当地历史移民、儒家孝文化及客观地理环境等因素密切相关。

The character-words of dialect have multiple features, such as systematic, exclusive, and stable, and so on.The dialect vocabulary on funerals reflects the folk custom of funerals in the dialect area, the taboo and social characteristics of which make it relatively steady .The twice burial custom of Southwest Anhui has dis-tinctive features, which can be used to generalize the character -words of dialects about funerals.“To have placed a coffin on the surface for three years or more” is the most distinct feature on burial in Southwest Anhui, which is closely related to immigration, local history and geographic environment and the Confucian culture.
