首先介绍了运用高斯混合模型检测运动目标的原理和方法;然后根据检测过程中出现的失真、阴影干扰等问题对高斯混合模型进行了改进,即通过选取合适的背景更新速率来改善检测失真问题,通过将RGB彩色向量转换为HVS彩色向量来消除阴影干扰. 对比改进前后的实验结果可知,通过改进可以使背景模型更好地适应有干扰的环境,能较为完整地提取出运动目标并减少目标阴影给检测带来的干扰.

It mainly introduces the principle and method of moving object detection based on Gaussian mixture model.In order to solve the distortion detection and shadow interference problems, it puts forward the measures that improves the background update rate distortion and uses HVS color vector to eliminate the shadow interfer-ence.From the results of the experiment contrasting before and after improvement, it shows that improved meth-od can adapt the background model with interference environment, and extract the moving object and reduce the interference of noise shadows on the target more completely.
