儿童阶段的家庭教育在幼儿的一生中有重要影响,父亲作为家庭中的一员,在家庭教育中担任着重要的角色,尤其是在儿童心理发展的过程中,对儿童的心理健康具有重要影响,但是目前调查发现父亲在家庭教育中的参与度并不高,父亲应该通过主动学习育儿知识,树立家教新观念,多抽时间与子女相处,既做孩子的老师,又做孩子的朋友等途径,减少父亲这一角色在家庭教育中的缺失现象.
