Hefei City,the center of the capital Economic Circle of Anhui Province,the Wanjiang City belt,and the Huaihe River ur-ban agglomeration,and the sub-center of urban agglomeration of the Changjiang River Delta,is in a critical period of the construction of new-type urbanization. This research expounds the present situation and foundation of the development of urbanization in Hefei City, and on the basis of analyzing the opportunities and challenges of the new urbanization construction in Hefei City,puts forward a people-cored path for Hefei's urbanization to promote the people-oriented new urbanization construction,the integration of industrial park and city,and the urban-rural integration.
