In view of the disadvantages of the gantry crane such as poor adaptability of program design and weak devel-opment platform of traditional products, the product main structure is designed based on the top-down method, for module division of the system.The database is built to realize proper control on the product structure and adjustable parameters.The girder platform system is developed for the gantry crane via the inference mechanism, which can rapidly respond to the client’ s demand, and make the program significantly adaptable and reusable.
